On our way to Sturgis this year (2022) our water pump on our 2016 Ultra Limited failed just short of the Badlands. I stopped at a H-D dealer 30 miles east of Sturgis and they advised that they could help me, but only if I left our motorcycle from Saturday evening all the way through Tuesday. I turned them down. While in Sturgis for the next whole week, I reached out to just about every dealer within 200 miles and they all were a no or they could not see me until well after I needed to be home. I called Rooster's Harley Davidson in Sioux City Iowa and was able to speak with Anne (not sure of last name, no photo on your website to select). Described my check engine light, over temp indication and the P1019 code my motorcycle was throwing and asked if they had the M8 retrofit kit and would they be able to take care of me on the way through town (on the way home) Saturday morning. She put me on a brief hold and came back with the yes that I was seeking all week from numerous dealers. I showed up before opening at about 8:30am and Rick was already there in the garage arranging motorcycles for the day. He asked me why I was there and I gave him the news and he said he would be back to me shortly. Very polite and very welcoming. Then Kyle Gant rolls in and greets me kindly as well. Rick and Kyle have a brief conversation about who will work on my bike and off it went right back to service. When I went inside the dealership, I was again greeted by a smile and a friendly welcome by Tanya M. She showed my wife and me where the coffee was and we chit chatted for the next 20 minutes or so. Mandi and Carla at various time had conversations with us also. Virtually everyone there at Rooster's Harley Davidson was so welcoming. They are all ambassadors of the brand, but more importantly they treat customers they have never met before just like family. Thanks to Anne getting me scheduled, Kyle for doing the hard work, and the rest of the gang providing a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, this was one of the best service experiences I've ever had. And... they kept me on schedule and allowed me to continue my trip home with only a brief delay for the repairs. Two hours after rolling my bike back for service, I get word from Anne your motorcycle is ready. I truly wish I could have tipped every worker in your dealership. I highly recommend Rooster's Harley Davidson for service. Thank you to each of you and others I likely neglected to give credit too.
